Knight Protection specialise in security services to high-net-worth clients. We are currently seeking two Security Officers to assist in covering shifts for one of the world's most prestigious education establishments in Crowthorne, Berkshire. Boasting the latest amenities and hosting permanent residents all year round, Wellington College is set in 400 acres of beautiful Berkshire countryside with duties including gatehouse access control, control room duties and site patrolling. We are ideally looking for individuals with an Enhanced DBS certificate, a legal requirement to work in a school, but will accept candidates willing to go through the process. The role also suits candidates that are physically fit. The patrol regime on the assignment is relatively extensive and the client provides either a vehicle in inclement weather or mountain bikes to assist in covering the areas required. Excellent communication skills and an excellent grasp of the English language is essential, as customer service is paramount.

This position would ideally suit a Security Officer that is happy to either work flexibly in covering leave, sickness and training, there is no shift pattern, or an officer that is happy to work around shifts worked elsewhere. This is a long-term position and suitable candidates will be required to attend a site introduction with the client before starting training. SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guard License, and a driving licence, are essential requirements.

The shifts are from 0600-1800hrs and 1800-0600hrs.

Job Duties:

• Monitoring entrances and greeting visitors
• Operating CCTV system
• Patrolling premises on foot
• Patrolling premises in a vehicle

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Salary: £11.25 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 48 per week.
